Elmer's tank features a skylight, so this meeting is dedicated to one of the essentials - light! We'll be talking about skylight installations & benefits, plus gadgets & gizmos such as light movement rails.

Elmer's tank is around 3000 litre, 2mx2mx1m high and sits in the middle of the house, visible from almost all sides. It is a mixed reef with fish and coral and is lit by 5 metal halides in addition to the skylight.

As at all MASWA meetings, our test kits & phosphate meter will be there for your use so bring along a water sample. We will be having a raffle with some great gift vouchers up for grabs, and a member door prize will be drawn (bring your membership card to enter). Snacks provided and drinks available for a small fee. Non-members & visitors very welcome.
